MonsterVerze Controls

Move, look, and open iGhost without fighting the HUD in BETA.

Controls

MonsterVerze is a Roblox afterlife fashion roleplay, so the first hour is half Dress Up and half “why will this camera not cooperate.” This controls guide covers PC/Mac keys, mobile gestures, and the on-screen HUD buttons that sit beside the iGhost phone. Pair it with Getting Started and the iGhost Phone walkthrough so you stop dying to the interface instead of Daisy.

PC and Mac movement

ActionTypical binding
MoveW A S D or arrow keys
JumpSpace
CameraRight-click drag
ZoomScroll wheel
Chat/
Menu / escapeEsc
InteractE or click
First personZoom all the way in (I key on some Roblox defaults)

Roblox also inherits your account keybinds. If W A S D does nothing, open Roblox settings and confirm movement is not remapped, then rejoin MonsterVerze so the client reloads.

Mobile and tablet

On phones and tablets you get a virtual joystick, a jump button, pinch-to-zoom, and swipe camera. Tap interactable props (weapons in the tutorial, train prompts, claim buttons) instead of hunting for an E key. Keep one thumb on movement and the other free for iGhost—fashion sessions need constant Dress Up checks.

HUD buttons unique to MonsterVerze

Besides Roblox chrome, the BETA HUD commonly shows:

  • Run / walk toggle so you can stroll for photos or sprint to the Graveyard Train Station.
  • Mute for in-game music when you are voice-chatting or recording.
  • News for patch blurbs and sometimes code callouts (the in-game news list can lag behind Settings).
  • Level / XP bar once Competition Mode is unlocked—see Competition & Runway.
  • iGhost (pink coffin-style phone on the right) for Dress Up, Shop, quests, travel, VIM, and Settings.

Codes still redeem in iGhost → Settings, not in a random chat command. Full steps live on How to Redeem Codes.

Camera and fashion posing

Runway shots and Hauntlywood walks look better if you zoom out enough to see wings, tails, and Halos. Scroll or pinch until the full silhouette is in frame, then use run/walk to control gait. If the camera clips through Eerie High halls, back up or switch to a less bulky outfit in Dress Up (Customization).

Interactables you will actually press

  • Tutorial weapons on the ground during Skella’s Daisy fight (Quests & NPCs).
  • Train destination boards (Locations & Trains).
  • Shop and claim buttons inside iGhost (Shop & Items).
  • Fashion Arena join prompts in Hauntlywood.

If a prompt never appears, finish the tutorial handoff, wait for full load, then rejoin once. Do not install “auto interact” scripts; they are a different risk class covered under Scripts.

Accessibility and comfort

Lower graphics if halls stutter. Mute music if it fights voice chat. Use walk mode near other players so you do not clip through photoshoots. After patches that mention mobile UI, re-read this page plus Updates because button positions do move in BETA.

Common control problems

  • Joystick missing on mobile: rotate the device, close overlapping menus, or rejoin.
  • Cannot open iGhost: wait for the open-world HUD after Skella; the phone is not always available mid-cutscene.
  • Camera inverted: Roblox camera invert is an account setting, not a MonsterVerze toggle.
  • Character stuck sprinting: tap the run/walk control again; do not mash jump.

Practice loop for new players

  1. Finish the tutorial with default binds (Getting Started).
  2. Walk the Graveyard station plaza in walk mode, then sprint to the platform.
  3. Open iGhost without moving so you learn the grid.
  4. Ride to Eerie High and back once.
  5. Redeem live strings from Codes in Settings.
  6. Only then start a Fashion Arena round where camera and timing matter.

Mastering controls is unglamorous, but it is what lets the rest of the Guides Hub land. When a patch relocates a button, come back here, then check Updates so you are not fighting last week’s HUD.
