MonsterVerze Quests & NPCs

Skella, Daisy, and the iGhost quests list that keeps BETA story moving.

Last updated:

Quests & NPCs

MonsterVerze is fashion first, but PlayGirldom still gates the afterlife behind people. Skella runs the tutorial. Daisy is the first combat beat. After you wake in the open world, more tasks live on the iGhost quests app rather than a giant quest log in the sky. This guide names the NPCs you will actually meet in early access, how to finish their asks, and where to go when a marker vanishes. Start with Getting Started if you have not left the tutorial yet.

Skella — tutorial director

Skella is the first voice that treats you like a new corpse with potential. Follow her prompts: spawn, listen, pick up the tutorial weapons, and complete the Daisy encounter. Skipping dialogue can desync the handoff to the Graveyard Train Station. If she repeats a line, finish the current interactable (weapon on the ground, door, camera look) before walking off. Controls for pickup and jump sit on Controls.

When Skella releases you, you should have the open-world HUD, including iGhost. If the phone is missing, rejoin once rather than hunting a hidden NPC.

Daisy — first fight, not a raid boss

Daisy is a short combat tutorial, not an endgame raid. Use the weapons Skella pointed at, stay in the marked space, and do not open Dress Up mid-fight. After Daisy, the game wants you on a train, not farming her. If you die, respawn and retry; BETA checkpoints can be generous or annoying depending on the patch (Updates).

iGhost quests app

After the tutorial, daily or story tasks often appear inside iGhost instead of over NPC heads. Open the phone, tap the quests / missions tile (label can read Quests, Missions, or a seasonal name), then track:

Turn in is usually automatic when the condition completes. If a quest sticks at 99%, rejoin, then reopen the app. Do not buy third-party “quest skip” tools (Scripts).

Other faces you will hear about

Community clips mention station attendants, shop mannequins, and Hauntlywood staff. Names shift in BETA, so treat titles as roles: train helper, shop greeter, arena host. Talk, then check iGhost—many “NPCs” only unlock a UI page. Official socials on Official Resources sometimes tease new characters before they ship.

VIP Monster / Halo vendors are not always standing in the plaza. Rank rewards often sit in apps (Halo of Vampiria).

If an NPC will not talk

  1. Finish Skella fully.
  2. Stand closer; mobile tap boxes are small (Controls).
  3. Close overlapping iGhost windows.
  4. Wait for the district to finish streaming.
  5. Rejoin the experience once.
  6. Compare with Patch Notes if a named character was disabled.

Suggested quest order for new accounts

  1. Skella + Daisy.
  2. Claim group Ghoulars and starter bundles (Free Ghoulars & Bundles).
  3. Redeem Codes.
  4. One train loop Eerie High ↔ station.
  5. One Fashion Arena round even if you place last.
  6. Open Shop and equip something you own.
  7. Only then chase VIM ranks if you bought the pass.

Friendship at Eerie High

Update 0.8.3 expanded Friendship: raise favorability with students, gift items, unlock NPC-inspired clothes, seasonal NPC outfits, and character artwork. A tutorial in iGhost explains the loop. Treat gifting as a daily habit beside Shop claims—not a substitute for Dress Up. If gifting fails, a later patch already called out Eerie High gift bugs; rejoin and check Patch Notes.

Cooking class and daily activities

Season of Vampiria / 0.8 tracking lists Cooking Class as a campus activity with daily quests. Ride to Eerie High (Locations & Trains), follow class or quest markers, and complete the cook/turn-in steps shown that patch. Rewards are usually Ghoulars, XP, or cosmetics—not Gems. If the classroom is empty, the activity may be weekly-gated; verify in-game rather than assuming the wiki is stale.

Quests exist to teach the loop, not to replace Dress Up. When a new NPC drops in a trailer, add them to your mental map, then return to this page and the Guides Hub so the afterlife stays a story you can actually finish.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers for codes, fashion, and BETA systems.

Who is Skella in MonsterVerze?

Skella is the tutorial NPC who teaches combat, pickup, and the handoff to the Graveyard Train Station before the open-world iGhost HUD appears.

Who is Daisy?

Daisy is the short tutorial fight after Skella’s weapon pickup. Beat her, then board a train—do not treat her as a farm boss.

Where are MonsterVerze quests after the tutorial?

Open iGhost and use the quests or missions app. Many tasks complete automatically when you shop, travel, or join Fashion Arena.

Why will an NPC not interact?

Finish the tutorial, stand closer, close extra menus, wait for load, or rejoin. Check Updates if the character was patched out.
